On 25th September 6 turnouts gathered at Berriewood Farm for drives of 16 and 8 miles. Both routes had been altered at the last minute due to road closures but much original material was able to be used. The closure did cause a lot of head scratching, map studying and Google consultation as to how to get vehicles to the farm. All arrived in good time however.

We were in an area of Shropshire that none of us are familiar with at the northern end of the Shropshire hills. Traffic was light as we drove through pretty villages, delightful scenery and a very smart ford.

Berriewood Farm had provided us with safe parking and we all enjoyed a picnic lunch on our return.
