Felicity and Philip Stubbs kindly hosted our first drive of the year exactly eight months after our last outing on Boxing Day. Everyone was very pleased to be out and about again and we were very lucky with the weather. Felicity had driven the route earlier in the morning to make sure that the storms had not left any fallen trees or flooded lanes in their wake and fortunately we found nothing worse than deep puddles and potholes.

After our 12 mile drive through Woodseaves, High Offley and Bishops Offley we were able to catch up with the gossip while enjoying a socially distanced picnic in the sunshine.

Those taking part were Felicity and Philip with Amber, Jennifer Marren and Helen James with Corky, Ann Staniland with a pair of chestnut ponies, Bryony and Mike Cowie with Red and Sue and Ian Cole with Sam the Man.
