Despite a wet start to the morning and a somewhat pessimistic weather forecast we had almost perfect weather for this drive which was organised by Bryony and held by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Griffiths who made us most welcome. Six turnouts enjoyed a 12 mile drive around the Hawkstone area. Those taking part were Russell, Pat and Molly with a pair of bays, Felicity and Avril with Amber, Mike, Barry and Jane with Red, Ted and Carol with Sally, Edith and Mal with Tally and Jennifer and Helen with Corky who was back in action after being poorly for some time. Unfortunately Sam, Sue and Ian were unable to drive due to breeching having been left at home!

We all enjoyed the sunshine and entertaining conversation during a leisurely lunch which was only brought to a close when rain threatened.
